The Full Story

The LC8 Swivel stool was originally designed in 1928 by a Charles – Edouard Jeanneret – who is more popularly known as Le Corbusier - with the assistance of Charlotte Perriand.

Part of a series of furniture designs, the LC8 Swivel stool is now known as an iconic piece of furniture.

Like all of Le Corbusier’s furniture, meticulous planning and experiments were conducted before settling on the final design. It is this attention to detail and quality that makes this piece of furniture not only essential but attractive, stylish and versatile too, as it can be used for office or home use, something of an occurring theme in Le Corbusier’s furniture designs.
