The Design Weekend Tatton Park
We like to visit as many furniture cum interiors shows as we can throughout the year. We had been contacted by the organisers design et al who had invited us along to the show. They were keen for us to see at first hand what an exceptional show the design weekend is. Such events give the team at Iconic an opportunity to keep abreast of what's new in the world of furniture design and interiors.
On the whole the show did not disappoint - not that I can say this about the weather. It was atrocious! Such a shame for the organisers. Even so, the number of visitors was encouraging for the weekend's exhibitors.
The highlight of the day for Mark was meeting furniture designer Darren Dent. Darren has over 15 years of experience in the industry and he has established a large and varied client base. Amongst his range of clients can be counted such familiar names as Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton (a top 5 Wall St law firm) and ESPA (largest luxury spa firm worldwide).
After a good chinwag with Darren it became apparent there could be an opportunity to promote some of his range through Iconic Interiors. Some of his designs have the potential of being iconic pieces of the future!
So watch this space. We'll be talking with Darren over the coming weeks with a view to showcasing some of his designs in the coming months.
